Repair and Alteration Guarantee
I inspect every garment before shipping it to ensure the best possible quality. However, if any issue arises, the following conditions will apply:
Manufacturing or workmanship defects
If, upon receiving the garment, the customer identifies a defect attributable to my work (for example, a poorly sewn seam or any other workmanship error), they may send it back for repair at no cost.
In these cases, I will cover both the cost of the repair and all shipping expenses required for returning and resending the garment.
Damage caused by use or accident
If the garment has been damaged due to use, an accident, or any cause beyond my control (for example, a snag, a tear, or damage caused by the customer), I may also repair it whenever possible.
The cost of the repair will depend on the extent of the damage:
-
Minor damage: the customer will only be responsible for the shipping costs.
-
Major damage: the customer will be responsible for both the shipping costs and the cost of the repair, which will be quoted in advance and must be accepted before any work begins.
If the repair is not technically possible or could affect the final quality of the garment, I will inform the customer before carrying out any work.
Handmade Garments and Alterations
Every garment I create is handmade and made to order. Behind each piece there are hours of work; it is not a mass-produced product.
I completely understand that sometimes a garment may not be to your taste or the fit may not be what you expected. If this happens, you are welcome to contact me so we can review the situation and look for the best possible solution, always aiming to reach an agreement that is fair for both parties. If the garment has been made correctly, according to the requested design, the photographs, descriptions, or videos published on my website or social media, and it has no manufacturing defects, the fact that the customer does not like it or that it does not fit as expected does not constitute an error in the making of the garment.
With this in mind, if, after receiving the garment, the customer wishes to make alterations for personal reasons (for example, changing the fit, shape, or any detail of a corset that was made exactly as shown and agreed upon), those alterations may be carried out whenever they are possible. As these are changes requested to a garment that was delivered correctly, this service will incur an additional charge depending on the work required, as well as the corresponding shipping costs. A quotation will be provided and must be accepted by the customer before any alterations are carried out.
My goal is to offer garments of the highest possible quality, made with the utmost care and entirely by hand. I always strive to do the best work I can and to provide solutions to every problem whenever it is within my ability. I truly appreciate your understanding of the time, care, and craftsmanship required to create each piece individually.
